Austin Mobile Dev Appiction Shuttered
The Austin American-Statesman is reporting that Appiction.com has been locked out of their office and their employees staged a mass walkout.
If you have to run to the press to assure people you’re not out of business, chances are you’re out of business. I had the misfortune of working for these people. In fact, they still owe me money. I found it to be the most utterly disagreeable episode of my professional career.
Well, I wouldn’t go that far. There were good people and good ideas. Overall, though, it was certainly an interesting experience and this was a long time coming. It’s sad to see that it crashed this way, though; it leaves a lot of people out on the street with no prospects.
