I told Asher that it was time for a nap and he ran into his bedroom, picked up his favorite book, sat in the chair and started looking through it. After the fit he threw when I had to take the book away to change his diaper was done with, we read the book and all was well. I turned off the light and we proceeded to make silly noises for a minute. When I kept going after he stopped he said, “Daddy, no! Nap! Shh!”
I just love this kid.
And no, of course he’s not asleep yet.
