We’ve gotten Asher interested in Facetime chats now. He asked Leah for me to read him a book before his nap and so I went to his room and grabbed the book he wanted then flipped the camera to the main one and showed him the pictures as I read it, watching him smile the whole time. We did this last night too (and I read that book three times).
We might just survive this in the end, and it might be the video chats that make it possible. We’re going to have to do it every day.
Of course, now I have to carry kid books on me whereever I go, just incase I get a call. ;)
