EveryDNS was bought by DynDNS, so DNS has been moved to Namecheap’s FreeDNS. Google for Domains rules, so I’m shutting down my mail server as well.
I ran those services myself so I could learn how to do it and have some control over it, but in the end it turned out to be more hassle than it was worth. I’m now convinced that it’s best to use existing services, if possible.
