Message from the iPad: Heavy Traffic Ahead « Broadband.gov

It’s a good point, and I’m glad someone’s bringing it up. The networks that wind up selling service for non-phone devices like this really need to make sure that their marketing ventures aren’t running ahead of their actual capabilities.

Of course, that’s a two-way street. The FCC needs to ensure that approval for their tower and spectrum upgrade rollouts happens as quickly as possible so these companies can move as fast as they can without external blocking. We need to be sure that when we deride AT&T’s performance that it’s completely their fault.

About

Hi. I live here.

I'm a software developer that is currently spending a great deal of time with Python, Django, Objective-C and iPhone, and various sysadminy things. When I'm not coding, I'm chasing around my little toddler son and telling him not to say that in public and please put that back on before we get kicked out.
