I have nothing but a 3G signal in the sticks at the moment, so I finally executed my dastardly plan for changing my data plans. I had the iPad on the $15/250MB plan and the phone on the $30/unlimited plan, but this left my computer out of the picture unless there was wifi nearby.
Well, for that same $45 I can get the Data Pro 4GB plan and the personal hotspot feature to give all the devices Internet. So, I cancelled the data plan on the iPad (with 8 days to go!) and turned up the service on the phone. Now I have service on all devices for web browsing, email, chat, and some light downloading for the month.
Same price, all devices, anywhere I get signal. Sweet.
